Course Description

Introduction to basic concepts from accounting, entrepreneurship, finance, management, marketing and operations management that are pertinent to starting and running new business and social ventures. Topics are covered by subject matter experts.

Prerequisites

  • Provides foundational knowledge for students who will not otherwise acquire business basics knowledge as part of their major degree program. This course is NOT required for students who complete a business core that includes FINC 200 or higher
  • BUAD 100 or higher
  • ACCT 200 or higher.
