Course Description
An overview of mathematics for the liberal arts student. Topics will include problem solving, financial management, probability, statistics, set theory, geometry, mathematical modeling, and the history of mathematics. . Fully Online Instruction with proctored exams. Students are required to log in to Canvas by the first day of class for detailed information and required course work. http://canvas.sac.edu. There will be no instructional meetings. This class will require proctored exams using software. Students must have access to a webcam and a microphone.Your instructor has elected to use no-cost Open Educational Resources (OER) course materials for this course.
