Course Description

This course provides a historical perspective of dance from ritual to contemporary theatrical dance forms. Primarily, this course will focus on how dance reflects the historical, social and political climate of the day. This is a fully-online course using Canvas. Open Canvas to view course materials beginning on the first day of the semester/term through the student portal mycollege.laccd.edu. Enrolled students will receive an email containing important course information in their official LACCD email account about one week before the semester begins.
