Course Description

The course focuses on the implementation and management of health education and promotion interventions, including such aspects as managing financial resources, assessing technology needs; and managing relationships with stakeholders. Students will examine the history of health education and promotion; analyze the philosophical, ethical and theoretical foundations of the professional practice of health education and promotion. Prerequisites: Permission of Instructor; Hpm 525 (required); Hpm 627 (preferred).
